1. It would be nice to state clearly in the introduction section that this document reviews the history of approaches to estimate radiation-induced detriment   2. It is necessary to clearly specify the applicability of the estimates of the detriment in order to avoid the understanding (likely mistaken) that calculated detriment may be applied to individual as well as to population.   3. It would be good to indicate in the introduction section the range of doses at which the detriment conception is applicable.   4. I would be nice to have an appendix or section where models used (ERR and EAR) would be given with their parameter estimates   5. I would be good to explain why and how the decision(s) were made to weight ERR/EAR models for cancers of different sites.
